Wall Gallery PC — optional video conversion

The application invokes a separate, replaceable FFmpeg executable. It does not link
FFmpeg libraries into WallGalleryPC.exe. No FFmpeg binary is included by Package.ps1.
Install-FFmpeg.ps1 downloads a pinned third-party distribution directly for the user.

Local development runtime: FFmpeg n8.1.3-20260924, BtbN win64 LGPL shared 8.1.
FFmpeg in this build is GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 or later.
Its unmodified license text is in Dependencies/FFmpeg/.../LICENSE.txt.
Configuration: --enable-version3 --enable-shared --disable-static,
without --enable-gpl or --enable-nonfree; libx264/libx265 disabled.
The H.264 encoder used by Wall Gallery is Windows Media Foundation (h264_mf).
FFmpeg's built-in AAC encoder is used. Other bundled codecs are not selected for encoding.

A branch link is NOT a substitute for exact corresponding source for redistributed binaries.

COMMERCIAL DISTRIBUTION:
The default package deliberately excludes Dependencies and test fixtures.
If FFmpeg is ever bundled or mirrored by the publisher, first assemble and provide
exact corresponding source (including patches, build instructions and applicable
third-party dependency sources/notices), appropriate license texts, and replacement /
LGPL debugging rights in the applicable agreement. That source bundle is not yet assembled.
Do not treat the local development runtime directory as a ready-to-publish package.
Do not add GPL or nonfree components to a release without a separate license review.
Codec patent obligations are separate from copyright licenses and depend on the
product, distribution and jurisdiction; no patent clearance is claimed here.
This notice is an engineering record, not a legal opinion.

PRIVACY:
Conversion output is streamed through an OS pipe and TCP, never saved to a video cache.
Application logs do not contain media filenames or stream URLs. The OS process list
can expose an encoder's input arguments while it runs. Shared root and pairing settings
retain their existing behavior. No per-media playback history is saved by the app.

OPTIONAL AI IMAGE SUPER-RESOLUTION (local PC processing):
Real-ESRGAN / realesr-animevideov3 official released model weights:

ncnn 1.0.20260526: https://github.com/Tencent/ncnn (BSD 3-Clause;
  see bundled wheel notice for additional components).
Python 3.13.15: https://www.python.org/ (PSF License and included notices).
NumPy 2.2.6: https://numpy.org/ (BSD 3-Clause and bundled component notices).
Pillow 11.3.0: https://python-pillow.github.io/ (HPND and component notices).
Full downloaded distribution notices are in Licenses/Upscale, and retained in
runtime/wheel assets. Do not strip those notices when redistributing dependencies.
The selected upstream licenses permit commercial use subject to their terms;
no exclusivity or guarantee of AI reconstruction accuracy is claimed.

Package.ps1 includes our worker, installation script, pinned download manifest and
license notices, but no inference binaries/model weights. Install-Upscale.ps1
fetches official artifacts with SHA-256 validation. No GPL/nonfree model runner is
selected. AI dependencies are independent of the optional FFmpeg dependency.

The AI worker receives PNG bytes on stdin and emits PNG bytes on stdout.
No source filename is passed on its command line. Media/result caches are RAM-only;
app logs do not record per-image history. Only the selected AI mode is persisted.

IN-APP SETUP: FeatureInstaller downloads the same pinned upstream artifacts directly, verifies SHA-256, and installs them into a temporary directory before activation. No PowerShell policy changes are needed. FFmpeg and inference binaries are not included in the base ZIP.
